...and
THIS is your clear solution:

Discover 4A-Studio and hear the difference! |
|||
|
First off, if you're using the Apple®Mac OS this incredible audio software ain't gonna work! It's based around the Microsoft®.NET platform and was built entirely within Microsoft®VisualStudio. This means you'll be fine if you run this beauty on Microsoft's Windows®Vista or Windows®7 operating system. Hey, it even works on the old Windows®XP if your system has SP3 and you've installed .NET 4.0. To get maximum benefit from this software you'll need a good pair of balanced EQ-flattened speakers in a neutral control room. Maybe a really good pair of headphones will do the job as well. High definition PCM wave audio works very well in this software and successful testing has been completed on PCM wave files at varying depths, including 8, 16, 24 and 32 bits. Our test sample rates successfully ranged from 11,025 in mono right through to 192,000 in stereo. It's important to remember, all processing (despite your CPU architecture) is carried out on your source audio material at 64-bit double-precision using floating point algorithms for maximum clarity. What does all this actually mean? Okay, blurb aside, it means 4A-Studio is really quite good. Try it. |
||||
|
If you're a mastering engineer looking for clarity in your audio tasks, you've come to the right place. 4A-Studio has a very impressive set of features. You can finally get the job done like never before! |

Feel the true power of this unbeatable software... |
||||
| Reduce unwanted hiss without tail damage... | ||||
|
|
Selecting
the ideal noise gate threshold can be tricky, especially when you consider
attack speed. Now consider release speed as well. These parameters have
to be timed just right to reduce hissy sections to virtual silence without
causing tail cut-offs. This software makes the task easy by finding the
threshold and deciding how fast to respond. It comes with a smart look-ahead
gate. |
|||
|
|
||||
| Double to stereo or blend perfectly to mono... | ||||
|
|
Something
as simple as changing between single and dual channel input and output can
be a real chore in editing software. Now you can seamlessly manipulate your
PCMs between mono and stereo with the built-in channel converter. This enables
source material to be saved either as a stereo-to-mono perfect mixdown,
or as a mono-to-stereo double up. No more hassle with your old sound editing
software. |

|
|
||||
| Add luscious warmth synonymous with tape... | ||||
|
This feature is NOT available in: DynamicMagic / OverDrive |
Despite
certain opposing opinions on this subject, many still remember the lush
warmth associated with analogue recording equipment. This software mimics
the main properties of magnetic tape to reduce the cold harshness of digital
perfection. On a physical level, loud sounds bleed and cause magnetic mis-alignment
in the poles. This in turn generates ducking in surrounding frequencies. |
|||
|
|
||||
| Manipulate thousands of sounds automatically... | ||||
| Let's
look at this from a basic perspective and identify a core problem inherent
in all mastering projects. Certain jobs, such as volume manipulation or
noise reduction, etc., tend to carry a high chore-bore factor. You know
the problem: Load sound one, normalize it, balance the pressure and so forth,
save it, open sound two, repeat, open sound three, blah blah, and so on.
What a tedious way to work. Well not any more because this software has
the full capability and built-in smart intelligence to run thousands of
sound files through its processors, according to your exacting needs. How
cool is that! |
||||
|
|
||||
| Increase or decrease bit depth safely... | ||||
| Why
should you worry about opening up a sound editing software environment just
to load in a WAV at for example 24 bits and save it as 16 bits? All so you
can run it under a different, less-compatible program. Surely this increases
production time for something which ought to be taken care of inside the
non-compatible software, right? Stop worrying about converting between bits.
In fact, this software even comes with built-in smart dithering, so there's
far less tail roll-off damage and virtually no tail drop-out distortion
if you go down to 8 bit. This works perfectly in mono and stereo, hopping
between 8, 16, 24 and even 32 bits. Please note, all audio processing within
this software is conducted using internal 64-bit up conversion, then dithered
back down to the output depth of your choice. It's all about ensuring the
highest possible quality for your professional needs. |

||||
| Add extra growl for enhanced comb-filtering... | ||||
|
This feature is NOT available in: MasterSeries / DynamicMagic / 4A-Studio |
Is
it appropriate to drive a signal so loud that it folds back on itself? Usually
the answer would be no. However, in some rare cases, overdriven saturation
can be just the thing. For example, let's say you need to excite a vocal
performance. Let this software bend carefully selected parts of your signal
before you run it through a traditional dithering and final reverb comb
filter. |
|||
|
|
||||
| Have absolute control over noise-shift dithering... | ||||
|
This feature is NOT available in: 4A-Studio |
Each
time you reduce the bit-depth of a signal, there are fewer bits to carry
the same dynamic range. This results in worse distortion the closer the
signal tends toward zero. By filling certain gaps with carefully shaped
noise, it's possible to trick the brain's ear. Specific noise, shifted into
discrete higher frequencies, creates the desired psycho-acoustic tail. This
software powers the magic for you. |
|||
| Decrease a track's output with lightning speed... | ||||
|
This feature is NOT available in: 4A-Studio |
You
want to reduce the volume without EQ damage. This is a trivial matter of
turning the signal down by a certain factor. Now you can achieve this at
incredibly high speeds where most tools are simply left behind. This software
brings so much pure power you'll wonder why nobody thought of it before.
It's now possible to reduce your signal extremely quickly without altering
the track's colour. |
|||
| Bring unprecedented depth to your mix... | ||||
|
This feature is NOT available in: MasterSeries / DynamicMagic / OverDrive |
This
software has something very special waiting in the wings. With this delay-based
reverb filter you can bring rich, sweet sounding feedback lines to your
mix. If the delay is subtle, it behaves like a quiet slap-back. This places
the mix into a tight room. Make the delay more obvious and your mix can
be opened up to a larger, often more interesting atmospheric cavern. It's
all about space. |
|||
| Push your tracks beyond normal volume safely... | ||||
|
This feature is NOT available in: 4A-Studio |
You
want to power up the volume without EQ damage? Ever noticed how so many
other tools just aren't up to the job? Try amplifying the signal beyond
theoretical dynamic maximum levels and almost all sound engineering tools
will introduce some kind of artifact. Generally, drive too high and you're
getting saturation damage. Now try this software and be amazed. It's finally
possible to drive your signal into new territory without fear. |
|||
| Reduce dynamic spikes regardless of their speed... | ||||
|
This feature is NOT available in: 4A-Studio |
With
this software cutting unwanted spikes, your signal can run through a normalising
circuit without the fear of clipped distortion. Say goodbye to peak foldback
and other artifacts such as saturation and dynamic pumping. This thing responds
ultra fast, even on snare drums and gunshots, without latency and post-limiter
ducking. Such a tool in the right hands can create punchy tracks. |
|||
| Aim for specific perceived pressure levels safely... | ||||
|
This feature is NOT available in: OverDrive |
If
you're after a specific overall volume level in your track, let this software
powerfully change the signal. The true beauty of this incredible RMS targeting
tool is when you run it in batch mode. You can effectively match all your
source material before going to the mixing desk. This can be done without
fear of clipping or unwanted saturation, so you only mix with a good reference. |
|||
| Spread your mix across an extremely wide stage... | ||||
|
This feature is NOT available in: DynamicMagic / OverDrive |
There
are countless stereo expanders available these days. Many come with their
own special algorithms for added mystery. This software is no exception
to the rule. However, it's very different because there's an extremely low
phase artifact and you can even manipulate mono source material with superb
results. Closing the soundstage from stereo towards mono is of course also
available. |
